Churches Together
We are Christ Central Church, but we are not the whole Church. We believe Jesus' prayer for unity matters, and we gladly stand alongside other churches across Taunton as, together, we love and serve our town and share the good news of Jesus.
Planning a First Visit?
What time do you meet?
Our two Sunday gatherings run 9:30am to 11:00am and 11:30am to 1:00pm at Gipsy Lane, Bishop's Hull, Taunton. Coming to the first one? We stop serving tea and coffee at 9:20am, so come nice and early (around 9:00) if you'd like a drink and a chat. Or stay after our second meeting, grab a coffee, and say hello. We'd love to get to know you!
What happens with my children?
Children are very welcome. We run safe, fun age group activities (0 to 2s, 3 to 5s, 6 to 7s, 8 to 11s) during the service, plus an 11+ youth group. Registration and check in are through the Avance app.
What should I expect?
A warm welcome, sung worship, and a Bible-based message that's easy to follow wherever you're at. There's no dress code, come as you are, and services last around 75 to 90 minutes.
Where can I park?
Our on-site car park fills up quickly, so arrive early if you’d like a space. Otherwise, there’s on-street parking nearby, a short walk away. Please park considerately and don’t block driveways or neighbours. You can also get here by bus: the stops at Musgrove Park Hospital are just a short walk away.
Is the building accessible?
Our main entrance is accessible via a ramp and the main visitor areas can be reached without steps, and we have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. If you have any access requirements, please get in touch and we'll be glad to help.
Do I need to be a Christian to come?
Not at all. Wherever you are on your journey – exploring, questioning, or following Jesus for years – there's a place for you here.
